The APC Has Received The Nasarawa State Through-Elections

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Ismail Danbaba has gained the Nasarawa Central constituency by-election within the state meeting.

The Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee Returning Officer, Iliyasu Umar, introduced the result of the election. Pronouncing the consequences, Umar mentioned the APC candidate were given 7,475 votes beating Bage Nuhu of the PDP with 4,608 votes.

He mentioned throughout the election 12,217 votes have been solid, whilst 12,083 legitimate votes have been recorded with 134 rejected votes.

“Through the ability conferred on me because the Returning Officer of this election, I hereby declared the APC candidate the winner, having scored the very best choice of votes solid,“ he mentioned. The Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) has introduced the re-run of the Nasarawa Central constituency following the dying of the constituency’s member of parliament, Alhaji Suleiman Adamu, on April 30.
