Police rearrest ex-guber candidate, one other over agitation for workers’ rights

The gubernatorial competitor of the Socialist Party of Nigeria (SPN), in the March 9 decision in Oyo State, Comrade Abiodun Bamigboye, has been re-captured by the men of the Nigeria Police Force Zone 11 Command in Osogbo, the Osun State capital. Bamigboye is the Acting National Chairperson of SPN and the Oyo State Coordinator of the Campaign for Democratic and Workers’ Rights (CDWR).

GISTOK assembled that Bamigboye had before been captured on Tuesday and confined for a few hours by the Oyo State Police Command at the state Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Iyaganku Ibadan. He was then re-captured and exchanged to Osogbo on Thursday.
