PDP dragged to court over N85million rent

A previous administrator of Yenagoa Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, Mr. Chubby Ben-Walson, has hauled the Bayelsa State section of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to a State High Court sitting in Yenagoa.

Ben-Walson is in court over the alleged disappointment of the PDP to pay its eight years extraordinary rents of N85 million, Guardian reports.

On Friday, his advice, Kelvin Ejelonu, lamented that the PDP who was not spoken to in court had been served the court see since March 27, including that the time they needed to document their reaction to the procedures had since a long time ago lapsed.

In his decision, Justice T. I. Cocodia asked the complainant to allow the PDP to empowered them to record their reaction and be served hearing notification and suspended the issue to June 24.

The previous gathering manager is looking for an announcement of the court that the “he (the inquirer) is qualified for installment of lease from the PDP( litigant) for the utilization of his six-winged story building situated along DSP Alamieseigha Expressway, Yenagoa.”

“A request of the court that the respondent (PDP) should pay the petitioner the remarkable lease of N85 million being equalization of unpaid rent for the inquirer’s structure from July 31, 2010, to till July 31, 2018.

“A request to the respondent to pay the due lease of N20 million as a lease from July 31, 2018, to July 31, 2019, if this issue rises above August 1, 2019.

“A request of this court the litigant should pay to the petitioner 10% enthusiasm on the equalization of the unpaid lease, and 10% enthusiasm on the all-out judgment entirety until the said judgment total is exchanged.”
