Ohanaeze fire Arewa youth, reveals why Igbo must be president after Buhari

The Igbo peak political association, Ohanaeze Ndigbo has demanded that the South-East should be permitted to create Nigeria’s President in 2023.

Ohanaeze’s agent representative, Chuks Ibegbu, in an elite meeting with GISTOK on Saturday, demanded that 2023 was the turn of the South-East to create Nigeria’s leader.

He said this while rubbishing a comment by the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, AYCF, that the North would hold control at the termination of President Muhammadu Buhari’s second residency.

Ibegbu thought about whether the North was alright with the present dimension of poverty and weakness in the locale and the nation overall.

He focused on that other geo-political districts of the nation had created presidents. Thus 2023 was the turn of an Igbo man to turn into Nigeria’s President.

Responding to AYCF’s announcement, Ibegbu stated: “What has the North profited by delivering the administration this while, is it Almajiri, neediness, frailty that they need to proceed? Is this what the North needs to continue with?

“This isn’t about showing off, administration of Nigeria is turned by turn, the North, South West, South possess done theirs turn its energy for the South-East. Straightforward.

“Different zones have had their turn 2023, and it’s the ideal opportunity for the South-East. straightforward.”
