Obasanjo Meet Hausa/Fulani, South West, Kogi Leaders

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has met with Hausa / Fulani leaders in the southwest, the state of Kogi and Kwara.

GISTOK understands that the meeting that discussed insecurity and banditry in the region was held in the state of Abeokuta Ogun.  Speaking at the meeting, Obasanjo urged Nigerians to stop blaming and seek a lasting solution to insecurity.

While he maintains that the security challenges of the nation should not be left to one person, Obasanjo said that solutions could come through collective efforts and not through “blaming” here or there.

“If Nigeria considered other countries as an older brother, it could not deal with its security problems, where would they go for help if they got home?” He said.
