Lagos governor, Sanwo-Olu makes first appointment

Recently sworn-in Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has selected Tayo Ayinde as his Chief of Staff. Ayinde, until his new arrangement was the Director-General Babajide Sanwo-Olu Campaign Group (BOSCO) and Chairman, Independent Campaign Group.

Tayo Akinmade Ayinde, who hails from Ikorodu region of Lagos State, was conceived on the 24th of August, 1964 at Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos. A Christian by religion, he went to St Peters’ Anglican Primary School, Alausa, Ikeja where he got his First School Leaving Certificate and his West African School Certificate from Ogudu Grammar School, Ojota, Lagos.

He was conceded into Federal Polytechnic in Anambra where he was granted Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Banking and Finance and Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accountancy. He worked quickly with TELL Magazine as Accounting Office in 1993.

In that equivalent year, he joined the State Security Service (SSS) and resigned commendably in 2009. While in SSS, he worked with previous Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as his Chief Security Detail. He ultimately joined legislative issues in 2009. His has an experts degree (MBA) in Financial Management from the Lagos State University.

Ayinde was in the University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management to complete a short course in Strategic Thinking Approach. He was likewise in the University of Cambridge, Judge Business School to complete a short course in Business Model Innovation. Tayo Ayinde also contemplated Strategic Financial Analysis for Business Evaluation from Harvard Business School, Boston, USA.
