Katsina protest in opposition to Buhari: Police arrests CNG chief, Sharif [Video]

Nigerian Police have detained Nastura Ashir Sharif, over the large Katsina protest in opposition to President Muhammadu Buhari.

On Tuesday, Sharif, a pace-setter of the Coalition of Northern Teams (CNG), led a relaxed demonstration within the State over bandits assaults and killings.

CNG, in a observation on its Fb web page, stated Sharif used to be arrested and brought to Abuja after the protests.

It stated the CNG Board of Trustees chairman “is lately being detained on the Nigeria Police Drive HQ, Abuja. He’s in opposition to the killing of helpless electorate through bandits”.

Assets say Sharif used to be taken from Katsina to Abuja through the State Commissioner of Police. He stated the Police boss instructed the early life chief “that the Inspector Common sought after to look him in Abuja and so they went in combination”.

“After achieving Abuja they detained him of their headquarters”, he published.

The protesters had instructed Buhari and Governor Bello Masari to surrender.

A type of recalled how bandits ambushed his good friend and sought after to rape the spouse.

“Either one of them resisted and had been killed”, he decried.

Curiously, Masari apologized for the killings, admitting that he has failed to offer protection to the folks.

Previous, the CNG, in a strong-worded observation lambasted the Buhari management over its reaction to the alarm on lack of confidence raised through the Northern Elders Discussion board (NEF).

Responding, the presidency instructed CNG to “thank their stars” that Nigeria used to be in democracy.

The remark drew in style condemnation.
