Kano government reacts to a court order in new emirates

The Kano State Government has depicted another court request controlling them from further activities on the questionable making of four new Emirates, as innocuous and not damaging to the as of now made Emirates.

A High Court had issued a limiting request on the state representative, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and seven others from completing any activity on the production of the Emirates and establishment of emirs. In any case, the legislature, through its Director General Media and Communication, Aminu Yasser, stated, “the request is innocuous as it concerns the officially existing seven made Emirate Councils, rather it was requesting that we be limit from doing anything further on the issue.”

He proceeded, “as of now we have no further issues left we have finished our activities concerning the making of the Emirates, and the arrangement of the Emirs and the request is stating further activities while we have no further activities we have finished everything.” The high court managed by judge, Justice Ahmadu Tijjani Badamosi, likewise coordinated administration of the request on the respondents through distribution in Daily Trust.

The request was allowed on 23rd May, 2019 for the situation initiated by Yusuf Nabahani (Madakin Kano), Abdullahi Sarki Ibrahim (Makama Kano), Bello Abubakar (Sarkin Dawaki Mai Tuta) and Mukhtari Adnan (Sarkin Ban Kano). Respondents in the suit are Speaker Kano State House of Assembly, Kano State House of Assembly, Governor of Kano State, Attorney General, Kano State, Tafida Abubakar Ila, Ibrahim Abdulkadir Gaya, Ibrahim Abubakar II, and Aminu Ado Bayero.

Equity A.T. Badamosi then deferred the issue till June third for becoming aware of the movement on substantive notice. Anyway, the legislature demanded that “this request does not concern us since we have no further activities in the matter of Emirate creation as we have finished every one of our activities before the request.”
