JAMB pronounces date for graduation of admissions for 2020/2021 consultation

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has authorized August 21 for tertiary establishments to begin first and 2d selection admission for the 2020/2021 consultation.

This used to be contained within the 2020 admission pointers signed through JAMB’s Registrar, Is-haq Oloyede, on Sunday

The board warned establishments to not bypass the Central Admission Processing Machine (CAPS), wherein admissions will have to be carried out.

“The first and 2d Alternatives Admission-Workout be carried out for all establishments from 21st August 2020 to a later date that will be decided through the Federal Ministry of Schooling and communicated to the entire establishments.

“All programs for admissions to First Level, Nationwide Degree, Nationwide Innovation Degree and the Nigeria Certificates in Schooling into Complete Time, Distance Finding out, Phase-Time, Outreach, Sandwich, and so on, will have to be processed ONLY in the course of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB),” the commentary learn partly.

Final month, JAMB authorized 160 and above as 2020 nationwide minimal cut-off mark for admission into public universities. The board additionally authorized 140 as minimal UTME rating for admission into personal universities.
