In the case between Senator Hope Uzodinma vs. INEC, he said that 366 of 388 results were declared by INEC, saying that APC won the voting units that INEC rejected the announcement.

On Thursday, at the court, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, who was in charge of operations during the Election of Governor on March 9, 2019, also presented evidence to the electoral court: “366 results in the EC.8A Forms of the 388 voting units results excluded from the compilation in the result declared by the INEC regarding the Election of the Governor of the State of Imo of March 9, 2019 “.

Speaking to GISTOK on Friday, Uzodinma insisted that it was illegal for INEC to exclude the results where he won, saying that if they had been declared, he would have won with a high margin.

“One of the reasons for my request is the illegal exclusion of the results of 388 voting units distributed in the 27 local government areas of the state of Imo, where APC won with high margins.

“If the results of the 388 illegally excluded voting units had been collected, the winner of the elections would have been declared,” said the former legislator.
