‘I speak for millions, victims of your misgovernance’ – Atiku fires back at Buhari

The 2019 presidential candidate of the People Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has stated that he will continue speaking for millions of Nigerians who are victims of the mismanagement of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Atiku spoke in response to the accusations of the Presidency that he was pursuing his selfish interest at the expense of Nigerians.

Buhari’s special adviser on media and publicity, Femi Adesina, described Atiku’s rapid reaction to the accusation of secret burial of 1,000 Nigerian soldiers in unmarked graves, by the Wall Street Journal, as a ploy to influence the judicial decision in his current challenge to the election of the president “because he is blinded by unbridled ambition.”

Adesina, in a statement entitled, “The relentless appeal to the emotion of Atiku: a gambit doomed to failure,” claimed that Atiku was appealing to the emotion in an attempt to simulate the feeling and influence the decision of the judiciary on his petition before the presidential appeal Court.

Reacting, the former vice president accused Buhari of addressing specific issues of bad governance and the devastation that his administration has caused to Nigerians.

In a statement signed by his spokesman, Paul Ibe, on Sunday, the former PDP presidential candidate reiterated his determination to continue “stand and speak for millions of compatriots and women who have become victims of their disorientation and great ignorance (of Buhari ). “

He called on the president to stop the intimidation and slander campaign against the judiciary and opposition elements.

The statement says: “As is typical of General Buhari and his managers, they did not comment on the terrifying statistics from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).”
