French President invites Buhari, agenda revealed

French President, Emmanuel Macron has welcomed President Muhammadu Buhari to the Africa-France Summit booked for June 2020 in Bordeaux, France.

Secretary-General, Africa-France Summit, Stephanie Rivoal, said this when she visited the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama, on Tuesday in Abuja, NAN reports.

As per her, Nigeria is relied upon to grandstand its ventures that have been demonstrated to work at the two-day summit for all partners engaged with the improvement of urban communities.

She said it was the desire of Macron for Nigeria president to be in participation at the summit because of the significance of the nation in the landmass.

Rivoal additionally said that the summit, not at all like each other summit was relied upon to give reliable answers for the difficulties confronting urban areas in Africa.

“I will welcome it if President Buhari accompanies an appointment of individuals associated with city advancement,” she said.

She focused on that the summit needed to give a gathering in which “priests share thoughts on solid answers for the advancement of urban areas.”

“Partners will be there to see what is the best for the general population that lives in those urban areas.

“Also, there will be solid duties by partners, and this will be followed up toward the finish of the summit,” she said.

As per her, issues like how to guarantee access to wellbeing, water, control and the rest will be talked about and furthermore approaches to make the country zones increasingly alluring to the general population to check provincial urban float.

This she said clarified why the summit would be facilitated in Bordeaux rather than the large city, Paris.
