Extra troubles for Akeredolu as Ondo employees set for showdown, threaten strike

All turns out now not too neatly with the Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu-led executive in Ondo State following the risk by means of employees to embark on strike.

The civil servants in a letter addressed to the governor gave him five days ultimatum to close down the state if their calls for weren’t met.

The employees beneath the Joint Negotiating Council, JNC, in a letter dated 10th July, 2020, gave Akeredolu until Wednesday, 15 July, 2020 to name for negotiations or they’ll down equipment.

The agitation was once contained in a letter to the governor and collectively signed by means of the state Chairman of JNC, Comrade Oluwaniyi Fabunmi and the State Secretary, Comrade Kehinde Olomiye.
