Enugu govt. bans operations of IPMAN’s state chapter

The Enugu State Government has restricted the activities of the state part of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) until further notice.

An announcement by the Permanent Secretary (General Administration), Mrs. Josephine Onyia, expressed that the state government took the choice after checking on with extraordinary concern, the extended emergency that has inundated the state section of IPMAN.

The state government included that the emergency “has accepted elements of cultism and banditry with its orderly grave security suggestions in the state.”

It hence uncovered that “an advisory group including Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), Nigeria Police, Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps,

Department of State Services and other pertinent partners, will be comprised quickly to assume responsibility pending the arrival to regularity.”
