Enugu govt. bans operations of IPMAN’s state chapter

The Enugu State Government has prohibited the tasks of the state section of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) until further notice.

An announcement by the Permanent Secretary (General Administration), Mrs. Josephine Onyia, expressed that the state government took the choice i

n the wake of investigating with extraordinary concern, the extended emergency that has inundated the state part of IPMAN.

The state government included that the emergency “has expected elements of cultism and banditry with its specialist grave security suggestions in the state.”

It, along these lines, unveiled that, “a panel containing Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), Nigeria Police, Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corps, Department of State Services and other pertinent partners, will be comprised in a matter of seconds to assume responsibility pending the arrival to commonality.”
