EFCC: Court strikes out 15 out of 32 charges against Daniel

Equity Olanrewaju Mabekoje of the Ogun State High Court in Abeokuta, on Friday, struck out 15 tallies from the 32 charges documented against the previous legislative leader of Ogun State, Gbenga Daniel by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Mabekoje likewise guided the previous senator to open barrier in the rest of the 17 changes.

As per the judge, the EFCC bombed in its indictment to set up an at first sight body of evidence against the previous senator.

Daniel had recorded a no-body of evidence accommodation against every one of the charges after the EFCC shut its case calling 33 witnesses, 30 of who had neglected to affirm against him on the constitutional issue which had hauled for a long time.

The legal issue, in any case, will go into another stage as Daniel is relied upon to show observers and displays in his protection against the EFCC charges.
