Days of protest against anger: Amnesty International has the same agenda with IPOB: Assistant Buhari requests an investigation

The assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on social media issues, Lauretta Onochie, has asked the human rights organization, Amnesty International, to investigate its subsidiary in Nigeria.

Onochie, in a tweet on Thursday, claimed that Amnesty International Nigeria has the same agenda with the separatist group, the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB).

He referred to a tweet from Amnesty International Nigeria, which called the revolution, “a movement of young Nigerians committed to fighting for freedom and only in exercising the right to freedom of expression and freedom of association.”

In the call, Onochie said: “Amnesty International needs to investigate the relationship between IPOB, a banned terrorist organization, and Amnesty Nigeria @ Amnesty Nigeria.

“It is time for them to review the activities of those who claim to represent them in Nigeria. They have an agenda similar to the IPOB. ”

The RevolutionNow movement is being convened by the former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore.

The movement declared on August 5 for the beginning of the protest of the revolution labeled “Days of Wrath” across the country to demand a better Nigeria.
