Buhari govt fix deadline to sack unqualified teachers

The Minister of Education, Adamu, has issued December 2019 due date for instructors who neglect to enlist and permit with Teachers’ Registration Council of Nigeria. Adamu cautioned that any instructor, who neglected to enroll with the body by December would not be permitted to educate in Nigeria schools.

The Minister, who was spoken to by the TRCN Registrar, Prof Olusegun Ajiboye, issued the notice on Thursday in Abuja at the Nigerian Union of Teachers workshop on privatization and commercialization of instruction in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.

He stated: “With the situation of the National Council of Education, the TRCN has been commanded that by December 2019, any individual who has not enlisted, qualified and authorized by the gathering will never again be permitted in our homerooms. Also, this position will be upheld correctly.

“Presently, educators still have the chance to take two expert qualifying examinations in May and October 2019 for them to get their enrollment and capability. “On commercialization, clearly the administration can never again finance instruction alone, so private cooperation is empowered. “Be that as it may, instruction can’t be marketed, because it’s anything but aware. We ought to deter whatever will prompt commercialization of training.”
