Board promotes 18,954 Civil Defence, Fire, Immigration, Prisons personnel

The Civil Defense, Fire, Immigration and Prisons Service (CDFIP) Board has endorsed the advancement of eighteen thousand, nine hundred and fifty-four officers (18,954) in the four administrations.

Secretary of the Board, Malam Al-Hassan Yakmut, declared this in an announcement on Thursday in Abuja. He said that the endorsement for the 2018 advancement practice was the highpoint of the Board’s gathering managed by the Minister of Interior, Lt.- Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau, (Rtd), who is additionally Chairman of the Board on Friday, May 17.

Yakmut, who gave the breakdown of the advancement, said 8,841 workforces were advanced in the Nigeria Immigration Service, while 6,179 faculty were advanced in Nigerian Prisons Service.

He said that 3,488 workforces were advanced in Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps and 446 in the Federal Fire Service, involving senior officers, just as those in the lesser units in the administrations.

“This conveys to end the 2018 advancement practice set out upon by the CDFIPB for the workforce of the four administrations inside the last quarter of 2018,” he said.
