Biafra group Speck on Akwa Ibom attacked by suspected Fulani herdsmen

The Biafra Youth League of Nations, BNYL, has reacted to the attack on the Ikot Obio Nso community in Mkpat Enin LGA of Akwa Ibom state by alleged Fulani pastors.

GISTOK reported that suspicious shepherds invaded farmland in the Ikot Obio Nso community in the Mkpat Enin local government area of ​​Akwa Ibom state on Thursday, killing one Editor Friday and injuring another, Nsikak Udoh. BNYL said the Fulani militia attacks were getting worse and beyond government control.

The national leader of the group, Princewill Chimezie Richard, in a statement sent daily on Saturday, condemned the attack and urged the people of Akwa Ibom state not to be afraid. He added that jihadists will never conquer the people of the extinct eastern region.

Richard said the attack on Akwa Ibom and the current situation in Nigeria had vindicated General Philip Effiong and what he represented, urging people to stand up to defend themselves.

He said: “Time will tell what they will receive from us, the attack is a sign that we should expect the worst, and we have received the message.”
