3 killed in farmers/herdsmen clashes in Jigawa State

Police in Jigawa State have showed the killing of 3 farmers in a farmers/herders conflict at Adiyani village in Guri Native Executive House.

Spokesman of the command SP Abdu Jinjiri showed the incident to DAILY POST.

He stated the incident took place on Friday 19th June at about 13:35hrs at Adiyani village.

Jinjiri defined that the incident began when a bunch of farmers went to the bush in an try to assault the herdsmen over alleged destruction in their farm produce.

He famous that police within the space blocked the farmers in an try to prevent them from taking rules into their palms.

“We blocked the farmers on their method to the bush, unknown to us they modified their path ”

“They engaged themselves in a struggle on the bush because of this 3 other people have been killed with bows and arrows and machetes”

The casualties come with Muhammadu Baushe 50yrs, Muhammadu kolo 45 yrs and Malam Mato 60 yrs all of Adiyani village.

He stated a staff of police and operation Salama led via space commander Hadejia visited the scene and took the sufferers to Health facility in Hadejia and so they have been qualified useless via a clinical Physician.

Jinjiri famous that the police have been additionally mobilised to track and arrest the suspects.

He, on the other hand, stated the state commissioner of police warned farmers towards taking rules into their palms
