2 arraigned in court docket for allegedly stealing cell phone

Two males, Olayiwola Kehinde, 22, and Muini Mojeed, 26, were arraigned ahead of an Ado-Ekiti Leader Magistrates’ Courtroom for allegedly stealing a cell phone.

The defendants, whose addresses have been unknown, are going through a price of stealing.

The prosecutor, Sgt. Olubu Apata, informed the Courtroom that the defendants dedicated the offense on July Five at about 5:00 p.m at Dalimore Side road in Ado-Ekiti.

He alleged that the defendants stole one Infinix Scorching eight telephone valued at N47, 000 belonging to at least one Kadiri Lukman.

Apata mentioned the offense contravened Phase 390(9) of the Felony Code, Rules of Ekiti State, 2012.

The prosecutor requested the court docket for an adjournment to permit him find out about the case report and provide his witnesses.

The defendants pleaded no longer responsible, whilst their suggest, Mr. Gbenga Ariyibi, suggested the court docket to grant the defendants bail, promising that they wouldn’t soar bail.

The Leader Justice of the Peace, Mrs Adefumike Anoma, in her ruling granted the defendants bail within the sum of 10,000 with one surety every in like sum.

She adjourned the case till July 21 for point out.
