1,795 For Police Recruitment Test In Enugu – PPRO

No less than 1,795 police officer candidates will be submitted to a test as part of their academic recruitment exam at the Police Command in Enugu State.

The state’s public relations officer (PPRO) in the country, SP Ebere Amaraizu, revealed this to the Nigeria News Agency (NAN) on Friday in Enugu.

Amaraizu said the exercise would take place on Saturday at the Federal Government College (FGC), Independence Layout, Enugu.

He said that the Command and the Police Service Commission (PSC) had made adequate arrangements for a trouble-free exercise in the state.

“Previously, we sent text messages and email to candidates who escalated the physical evaluation conducted at the beginning of last month to attend the test.

“We also gave instructions on what is needed in the room as supervisors expect applicants to comply with the rules of the test strictly,” he said.

Amaraizu said the list containing the names of the affected candidates could be accessed at the state police headquarters in Leck Street, Enugu, for further confirmation.

According to him, the supervisors of the Command and the PSC will be in place to ensure that the candidates comply with all directives related to the test.

The police spokesman, however, advised that any person or group of people, which is not related to the exercise, should not be in place.

NAN reports that successful test candidates would proceed to Police College, Oji River, to receive training.

It should be remembered that PSC had previously preselected 2,945 applicants in the state of Enugu for a physical examination and, after the exercise, the number was reduced to 1,795.

The physical examination, which was for the applicants of the 17 state councils, was held between July 1 and 6 in the Conference Hall of the headquarters of the Command in Enugu.
